Ups and Downs

Obviously, many business over the past year have suffered greatly. But as I've spoken with entrepreneurs, a lot of them have told me they're just as busy or busier than ever! Although this information is anecdotal, there seems to be a great divide. Some businesses are a shell of what they used to be while some are seeing record numbers.

You're likely to fall into one of these two categories, but guess what? It doesn't matter.

If you're struggling to pay the bills right now you probably think I'm delusional. Clearly, having basic provision is important, but ultimately you need to think and act with a greater perspective than your current ups or downs.

You need to live for and invest in things that truly matter... Things that have serious long term effects. Your marriage. Your kids. Your inner circle of friends. Your soul.

If your business is doing good, I'm happy for you! But you'll never be truly satisfied with it.

If your business is not doing good, I'm sorry. But it'll never truly solve your deepest problems anyway.
